Proverbs 27:1-4

1 Don't brag about your plans for tommorrow- wait and see what happens. 2 Don't praise yourself; let others do it! 3 A rebel's frustrations are heavier than sand nad rocks. 4 Jealousy is more dangerous and cruel than anger. 5 Open rebuke is better than hidden love!

Proverbs 17 27- 28

The man of few words and settled mind is wise; therefore, even a fool is thought to be wise when he is silent.

Prayer

The ahead is from ' The Life Recovery Bible'. When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites and pretend piety by praying publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. Truly, that is all the reward they will ever get. But when you pray, go away by yourself, all alone, and shut the door behind you and pray to your Father secretly, and your Father, who knows your secrets, will reward you.
Don't recite the same prayer over and over as the heathen do, who think prayers are answered only by repeating them again and again. Remember, your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask Him!" Some phases of our recovery may be very painful; we may feel that we are being punished for our failures." It may hurt when God removes our defects, but this in itself is a display of love. The Bible says, " My son, don't be angry when the Lord punishes you.... For when He punishes you, it proves that He loves you.
